We have never believed that Freeware meant no support, so in our efforts to keep our customers happy, and to improve our support levels, we have created a [ClosedTalk]® Forum.

  1. I did not receive any activation email.

  2. After downloading [ClosedTalk]®, I can't launch the program.

1.

I did not receive any activation email.
Email Address During the Registration process, [ClosedTalk]® uses a Gatekeeper to generate the activation code which is sent to your own email address. For this reason, you are required to provide a VALID and ACTIVE email address. If you have entered an invalid email address, you will not be able to receive the email containing the activation code.

Email Filter

Please ensure that your email filter allows incoming emails sent from closedtalk@ce-infosys.com. Your email system must not block this email address. Similarly, your anti-virus or anti-spam software should not block this email address.

Firewall Setting
If your computer has a personal firewall, it must not block [ClosedTalk]® from accessing Internet.

[ClosedTalk]® needs the firewall to enable TCP & UDP connections for both incoming and outgoing traffic on Port 18800.

If you are behind a public or corporate firewall that is blocking the port or protocols, please contact your network administrator for further instruction.

2.

My activation code does not work.
Upon successful registration, your activation code will be kept for 30 minutes in the Gatekeeper. After that time, the Gatekeeper will erase your activation code. You are required to retrieve your activation code from your email and enter into your computer within that time frame. Any activation after that time lapse will fail. In this case, you must retry the registration. If this happens, you must click on the RETRY REGISTRATION button.

After downloading [ClosedTalk]®, I can't launch the program.
Your computer must have a sound device installed with a sound card and driver. Try installing [ClosedTalk]® into another machine which you are already playing music or video.
